Uzbekistan is a country of great culture and history. For many centuries it was a place where dozens of loaded caravans with all kinds of goods traveled back and forth contributing to the development of all areas of human life: technology, science, culture and philosophy. Exchange of all these things between various nations shaped the unique identity and culture of Uzbekistan. Today Uzbekistan is one of the most beautiful countries in Central Asia and each year is visited by thousands of tourists. The region on which the country sits featured a sedentary lifestyle throughout history. Thanks to careful restorations cities in Uzbekistan managed to preserve its ancient architecture. Beautiful cities of Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva can boast beautiful madrasahs, mausoleums, and mosques with high minarets that will not leave anyone indifferent.

Most of the tours in Uzbekistan include visiting three main cities. These are Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva. Samarkand being the second largest city in Uzbekistan is, in fact, one of the oldest cities. Its history goes 2 750 years back and has  witnessed Alexander the Great, the Arabic Conquest, Genghis-Khan Conquest and lastly Tamerlane's dynasty. Bukhara is another ancient city in Uzbekistan, to the west of Samarkand, which accounts for more than 300 mosques and around 100 madrasahs. Khiva is in no way less attractive. Being one of the most important cities on the branches of the Great Silk Road, Khiva has developed a unique identity which can be seen from its appearance. These cities will tell you much more about the rich history of this place than any other history book.

Nature lovers will be satisfied too in this country. They can travel to Chimgan mountains and Charvak lake, and enjoy camel riding near Aydarkul lake during your tours.
